Oedo-Botania is a marine botanical garden located in Hallyeo Maritime National Park, which has a beautiful view of the crystal blue South Sea and surrounding landscape. It is 4 kilometers away from Geojedo Island. About 20 minutes by ship from Gujora Port, past Naedo Island lies the European-like Oedo Island.

Oedo Island is located at the opposite end of South Korea to Seoul, and takes over 5.5 hours - too far for a day trip. But if you are going to Busan or Geoje Island, I recommend including Oedo Island to your trip.To get from Seoul to Busan, we usually take the KTX high speed train from Seoul Station to Busan, (2 hr 45 min).

Oedo Island is the first island in Korea to be owned and developed privately and is a marine botanical garden that is a part of the Hallyeo Maritime National Park.
